Plus Funding Group – Key Personnel
Robert Blum is chairman and a co- owner of Plus Funding Group (“PFG”), and brings extensive experience in private and public finance to the role during a thirty year career. He is also senior advisor for investment activities to Downtown Capital Partners, a family office and co-owner of PFG. In 2005 he co-founded and co-managed Full Circle Funding, LP, a finance company making secured loans and providing growth capital to small and mid-sized companies. Originally established in a private investment fund structure, it was converted in 2010 to a public business development company (Nasdaq: FULL), which he departed in late 2013, though Mr. Blum is still active in the runoff of Full Circle’s private investment fund assets. Prior to Full Circle, Mr. Blum had extensive experience in the investment management and investment banking industries, building the new manager seeding business at the Fairfield Greenwich Group for four years and spending ten years at Oppenheimer and Co., Inc., where he was a member of the firm’s Management Committee and a managing director, working in both the legal department and in several investment management businesses. Mr. Blum began his career as a corporate and securities lawyer at Fulbright and Jaworski, Reavis and McGrath in 1984. Mr. Blum has a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
Gregg is President/Chief Credit Officer at PFG where he is responsible for portfolio management, including business development and operations. He has over 29 years experience in the factoring industry at various institutions where he held senior level positions such as Harbor Business Credit, Merchant Factors and Heller Financial. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration from American International College.
Rowena is the Financial Controller at PFG responsible for financial reporting and client operations. She has over 10 years of experience in various aspects of accounting and taxation at firms like Deloitte and Ingersoll Rand. She earned her B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University.
Frank Mancini is the senior vice president of PFG and is responsible for its new business development, underwriting prospective clients and portfolio management. Mr. Mancini has spent twenty years in the asset-based lending and factoring industries. He also has extensive knowledge of merchant cash advances, purchase order financing, and inventory lending. He was previously the Head of Underwriting at a merchant cash advance company, Happy Rock Merchant Solutions, and a factoring company, CapFlow Funding Group. Prior to these roles, Mr. Mancini was a Vice President of Whitecap Advisors, an alternative credit finance fund. Mr. Mancini started his career at GE Capital as a field examiner auditing middle market transactions and was a Business Unit Controller for high yield secondary bonds at UBS Investment Bank. Mr. Mancini graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a bachelor of science.
